Re-Thinking Tourism in the New-Normal

As a Volunteer with CESO (Canadian Executive Service Overseas), the Canadian Federal government has reached out and invited me to do some volunteer work internationally. I work with the Tourism and Hospitality sector. As we move beyond COVID and we embrace a ‘New Normal, are there new opportunities to re-think Tourism, linking it to a sustainability mindset? Can we begin to include community in this new approach to tourism? These community members can be valuable resource. As we tap into the community we can learn from them. Community members can work together on goals and visions for everyone. A sustainability mindset can be the New Normal of the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
