GETTING THERE
WHERE DOES THE COURSE TAKE PLACE & HOW TO GET THERE?
The school is situated in the rural village of Sibang Kaja in beautiful Bali Island. The campus can be easily accessed by motorbike or car and– it is located about 30-mins from Ubud or Canggu; 1 hour from Seminyak, Sanur and 1,5 hour from the Airport. A list of taxis, drivers, car-share providers and helpful tips for transport is provided for our participants prior to arriving in Bali.
WHAT AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali - there are many flights in and out of Bali each day, which makes it easy to get to and from Bali from multiple locations.
WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY?
Bali is full of amazing accommodation options and you may wish to book some extra time prior to, of after the course to explore and enjoy Bali. You will find options and various priced offerings via pPrior and after the course, you can book a cozy place from these websites: Booking.com, Agoda, Tiket.com, Traveloka, or AirBnb. You can also extend your stay in the unique Green Educators from the accommodation, at a modest additional charge. that we provide under your own expense.

PROGRAM
WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE?
Each day is curated with a mix of activities that are designed to inspire, educate, create connections and spark joy. Each day’s program commences at 8am and closes as the sun sets at 6pm.Days are packed with activities from early morning until dinner – 8 AM - 6 PM. Some optional activities may be offered before breakfast or after dinner. A detailed schedule of the program will be sent to registered participants one week before the course begins.
WHO ARE THE COURSE FACILITATORS
The facilitators will be our own Green School Faculty Members. Tapping into the creativity and wisdom of some of the world’s most seasoned Green Educators, these masters will be your guides through the program
ARE THERE ANY ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE CAMPUS DURING THE WEEK?
Yes, during the week there will be one or two days where we take the group to go out, learn and experience nature, local community, culture and tradition. You may also get an opportunity to join students’ projects/activities outside the school.
GENERAL INFORMATION
WHO IS THIS FOR?
- This course is designed for anyone who is passionate and interested in putting sustainability at the center of their daily life, especially for school teachers and administrators.
- Basic English speaking, listening and reading comprehension is required.
- Participants have to be over 18 21 years of age and committed to engage actively during the transfer of learning process with facilitators, colleagues and peers.
WHERE DO I STAY DURING THE COURSE?
Participants will stay overnight on the Green School campus. During the stay, you will experience green living at its finest while sleeping in Green Camp Lodge - a breezy, beautiful and comfortable bamboo dormitory with bamboo bunk bed that can accommodate up to 40 people in one lodge. The room is equipped with ceiling fans (no AC), mosquito nets, lock box for valuables, sheets, blankets and towels. Female and male will stay in different rooms and there are separate bathroom facilities as well.
IS IT REQUIRED TO STAY IN THE ACCOMMODATION ON CAMPUS DURING THE COURSE?
Yes, we ask that all participants stay on campus, including those from Bali – this is part of the experience.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD IS PROVIDED?
We will serve a variety of tasty Indonesian and Western vegetarian organic food, prepared by Green School’s amazing kitchen team. Coffee, tea and snacks are also provided throughout the course. Any dietary restrictions can be listed on the registration form.
CAN I LEAVE EARLY DURING THE COURSE AND WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?
Participants are expected to be punctual and encouraged to participate around 8 hours per day or equal to 42 - 47 hours of program during the week. If for some reason participants need to leave and couldn’t attend some sessions, please make sure to inform us in advance.
DO I GET A CERTIFICATE?
Certificates of Completion will be given to participants at the end of the course.
